Massive New Pickleball Courts Coming to Buffalo New York

America’s fastest growing sport will have a few new places to play right here in Western New York.

Earlier this week, the Erie County Parks Department tweeted on “X,” formerly known as Twitter, about new pickleball courts set to open along Tonawanda Creek.

WHO INVENTED PICKLEBALL?

Although the sport has recently gained national attention, Pickleball was invented in 1965. According to Pickleball USA, three fathers, Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell and Barney McCallum, came up with the idea after their children were bored with their usual summer activities.

HOW TO PLAY PICKLEBALL?
