2 injured in shooting in Madison, Tennessee

MADISON, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are investigating after at least two people were injured in a shooting in Madison Monday night.

According to Metro Dispatch, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Brawner Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. to respond to reports of a shooting.


Officers told News 2 that two gunshot victims were found at the scene. One of the victims appeared to have been shot in the head, while the other had a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said.

They added that one person was taken to a nearby hospital, but their condition remains unknown.

It is still unclear what led to the shooting and whether any suspects are in custody.
