Woman shot in face, man arrested after incident in southeast Atlanta

ATLANTA – Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured in southeast Atlanta.

On Friday evening, just before 6 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Cleveland Avenue SE for a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 23-year-old woman who had been shot in the face.

She was taken to hospital for treatment.
