WE GO STRAIGHT TO BREAKING NEWS FROM FORDYCE, ARKANSAS WHERE THREE PEOPLE WERE KILLED. AT LEAST 8 OTHER CIVILIANS AS WELL AS TWO POLICE OFFICERS WERE INJURED BY GUNSHOT. POLICE SAY IT HAPPENED TODAY AROUND 11:30 AM AT THE “MAD BUTCHER” STORE IN FORDYCE. THAT’S ABOUT 70 MILES SOUTH OF LITTLE ROCK. COPS ALSO SAY THEY SHOT AND INJURED THE SUSPECT BEFORE TAKING HIM INTO CAPTIVITY. AUTHORITIES SAY THE INVESTIGATION IS STILL IN THE VERY EARLY PHASES. <> (“It is tragic. Our hearts are broken. Three people were killed in a shooting at a grocery store in Fordyce, Arkansas, Friday morning, according to Arkansas Department of Public Safety Director Mike Hagar. The shooting occurred at the Mad Butcher store around 11:30 a.m. The gunman injured 10 other people, including two police officers. The ASP said the condition of their injuries ranged from “non-life-threatening” to “extremely critical.” Police fired at and wounded the gunman, who was taken into custody. The identity of the gunman, victims and possible motives have not been released.

The gunman injured ten other people, including two police officers. According to the ASP, the condition of their injuries ranged from “non-life-threatening” to “extremely critical.”

The police fired at the shooter and wounded him; he was taken into custody.

The identities of the shooter and victims, as well as possible motives, have not been disclosed.
