Motorcycle accident sends you to the hospital | Community news

According to the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater County officers, Orofino Ambulance, Rescue Three and Life Flight responded to a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at approximately 4:54 p.m. The driver, Jerry Jones, 78, of Renton, WA, was riding his 2010 Honda motorcycle on the Cavendish Highway near milepost 14. As Jones negotiated the curve, he struck a deer and was thrown from his motorcycle . Jones was flown to an out-of-area hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. Jones was wearing protective gear and a helmet. The motorcycle was towed by Johnboy’s Towing.
