EP Police: Missing man found; Silver Alert lifted

UPDATE: Baltazar Zarazua Castaneda has been located and the Silver Alert has been lifted, El Paso police said.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The El Paso Police Department (EPPD) is asking for assistance or information in locating a missing man.

Baltazar Zarazua Castaneda, 74, was last heard from at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, according to EPPD, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and sandals.

Castaneda is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 143 pounds.

According to EPPD, Castaneda requires medication due to an illness.
