A serious accident was reported on Highway 240 in Orearville, resulting in the temporary closure of the road.

The accident reportedly involved a semi-truck. Residents who want to take 240 to get to Slater or Marshall will need to take an alternate route while crews secure the scene. The Saline County Sheriff’s Office said it is not sure when the road will be reopened.
