Garden City Fire Department is working on an “active explosion” incident

GARDEN CITY, Kansas (KSNW) – Emergency crews in Garden City work to clean up an explosion Saturday.

The Garden City Fire Department said multiple firefighters were on scene because an explosion occurred in the 2700 block of 10th Street, which is the area between Fair Street and Hamline Street.

It is unclear if there are any injuries. The GCFD asks that you avoid the area while emergency crews work.
