33-year-old motorcyclist killed in accident in Clay

CLAY, NY (WSYR-TV) — On Saturday, June 15, at approximately 10:50 a.m., an accident occurred between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Chestnut Street in Clay.

The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man, was treated at the scene by Onondaga County Sheriff’s officers, New York State Troopers and North Syracuse Police.

He was then taken to Upstate Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

No tickets were issued and the accident remains under investigation.

The motorcyclist’s name will not be released until next of kin have been notified, the OCSO said.
