1 dead in Edgehill apartment after reports of gunshots

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was found dead in an Edgehill apartment Tuesday afternoon after reports of gunshots in the area.

Metro Police said the incident occurred at around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, at an apartment in the 1000 block of Edgehill Avenue.

Officers received a call from a neighbor who said he heard multiple gunshots. When officers arrived at the apartment, they entered and found a person dead, according to investigators.

Detectives are currently questioning neighbors in the area.
