One person died in a motorcycle accident, another is in critical condition

LAKE POINT, Utah – One man is dead and another is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash Saturday night at 8 p.m.

Sergeant Brandon Light of the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office said the two men, both 20 years old, were riding a motorcycle together when they collided head-on with a car at 7000 N Center Street in Lake Point.

Light said the car involved in the crash was traveling in the opposite lane. Police do not currently know who crossed the center lane or what caused the crash.

When police arrived at the scene, one of the men was pronounced dead and the other was in critical condition, Light said.

Light said the driver of the car suffered no injuries.
