Firefighter hospitalized after trailer catches fire at Goodwill in downtown

ATLANTA – Atlanta Fire and Rescue put out a fire at a Goodwill location early Sunday morning.

Firefighters said Sunday they were called to 2135 Piedmont Road regarding a fire.

They arrived on the scene to find a fire in a semi-trailer near the loading dock.

Firefighters said the fire was put out and the store itself was not damaged.

One firefighter was transported to Piedmont Hospital for treatment of heat exhaustion.

No other injuries or damage were reported.
