2-year-old child apparently dies by drowning

Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police are investigating the apparent drowning of a two-year-old boy, announced Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz. At approximately 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning, Brockton Police received a 911 call that a two-year-old boy was found unconscious in an above-ground backyard swimming pool at 111 Ardsley Circle. Brockton Police and EMS responded and transported the male victim to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is not being determined at this time. The incident remains under investigation by MSP and Brockton Police.

Brockton Police and EMS responded and transported the male victim to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is not being released at this time.
