Lancaster County chicken coop fire under investigation

A large fire destroyed a chicken coop in Lancaster County early Sunday morning. The fire lit up the sky along the 2700 block of Shoemaker Road in Rapho Township. Emergency crews were able to bring the fire under control around 3:30 a.m., but damage was extensive. No injuries were reported. It is unclear if any animals were hurt. The fire is under investigation.
