Outkast and Usher are Atlanta representatives in the Top 100 Apple albums of all time

By comparison, Rolling Stone’s most recent ranking of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time placed “Aquemini” at a comparable 49, while “Confessions” was at 432.

Outkast has been critically acclaimed for decades and this third studio album is often considered the duo’s best. It covers several musical genres, a wide range of musicians and live instruments. Rolling Stone critic Brett Schewitz wrote, “Big Boi and Andre 3000 are yin and yang; completely different personalities. Like bittersweet, salt in chocolate, their divisive personalities and styles are what makes this product so good.

It’s not Outkast’s best-selling album. It’s “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below,” which is now the best-selling rap album of all time.

Usher’s “Confessions” was actually his best-selling album to date with a string of hit singles “Yeah”, “Caught Up”, “Burn”, “Confessions Pt. II” and “My Bouh”. He was nominated for eight Grammys and won three.
