Khamenei urges Iranians “not to worry” after presidential helicopter accident

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged Iranians on Sunday not to “worry” about the country after state media reported that a helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi crashed.

“The Iranian people should not worry, there will be no disruption in the country’s work,” Khamenei said in a speech broadcast on state television. “We hope that Almighty God will return our dear President and his companions in good health to the arms of the nation.”
