1 injured in stabbing in southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are investigating after one person was injured in a stabbing in Southeast Portland early Saturday afternoon.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the 8200 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue for a report of the stabbing.

Upon arrival, they found the injured person, who was then taken to hospital.

The victim’s condition is currently unknown.

Officials believe it was likely not a random attack and did not involve a knife. However, they are still investigating and looking for potential suspects.
