26-year-old man killed in shooting in Suffolk

A man was killed in a shooting in Suffolk on Thursday evening.

Police responded to the 1300 block of Blythewood Lane after a report of shots fired around 6:38 p.m. Officers found 26-year-old Darrell Lamont Knight Jr. of Suffolk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Knight died at the scene. Police have not released any further information. The investigation is ongoing.
