No injuries in balloon incident

The Great Wellsville Hot Air Balloon Rally concluded Sunday morning, but not without one final mass launch. Weather conditions were perfect. The entire weekend went as planned… until Rachel’s Dream, operated by Pennsylvania-based Endless Mountains, drifted between the Genesee River and Runnings (in the Riverwalk Plaza). The balloon became stuck on a light pole. The Emerald Hook & Ladder responded to ensure the safety of the crew and cut the balloon from the pole.
