2 dead in early morning car crash in Greenville County

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office says two people are dead after a crash that occurred just before 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning. The Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to Augusta Road and Princeton Highway in Honea Path Sunday morning after the Highway Patrol said a vehicle traveling southbound on Augusta Road crossed the roadway and struck another vehicle traveling northbound. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the Coroner can confirm one of the victims was female. The Coroner has not released their names and will perform an autopsy on Monday. The investigation is ongoing.

The Medical Examiner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to Augusta Road and Princeton Highway in Honea Path Sunday morning after the Highway Patrol reported that a vehicle traveling southbound on Augusta Road crossed the roadway and collided with another vehicle traveling northbound.
