Burglary in Whitingham under investigation, police seek information

WHITINGHAM – Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary at a Poverty Row residence in which an intruder forced entry and stole various items.

The incident was reported to Westminster Barracks at 9:58 p.m. on July 19.

The homeowner, Erin Kelley, 47, of Chester, Virginia, was not present at the time of the break-in.

According to authorities, the break-in occurred between June 28 and July 19.

A detailed list of stolen items is currently being compiled and will be published as soon as it is available.

Trooper Elias, who is leading the investigation, is urging anyone with information about this crime to come forward.

Witnesses or anyone with knowledge of the break-in are asked to contact the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks at 802-722-4600.
