Houston police respond to critical shooting on Antoine Street

DETAILS:

1. According to HPD PIO Jody Silwa, officers responded to reports of a shooting in progress.
2. Officers arrived and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds
3. The man was taken to a nearby trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.
4. Another man was taken into custody at the scene
5. Preliminary information: The two men appear to have had an argument and ended up shooting each other.
6. The uninjured man claimed he had an explosive device inside his vehicle, and Bomb Quad responded, evacuating the car.
7. There is a machete and a shotgun at the crime scene
