Henderson County man arrested during traffic stop for meth possession | News

A traffic stop in the Oak Harbor neighborhood led to the arrest of a man for drug possession, authorities said.

On July 9, 2024, Deputy Melissa Harmon of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office conducted the stop and identified the driver as Michael Arnold. During the interaction, Arnold made several furtive movements, after which Deputy Harmon asked what he had in his hand. Arnold admitted it was drugs and handed over a bag containing suspected methamphetamine, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

Arnold was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Henderson County Jail to await arraignment.
