South Portland Police ask for help identifying man involved in Target incident

SOUTH PORTLAND – South Portland Police have turned to the public to help identify a man involved in an incident at a local Target store last Friday.

In a public appeal, the department shared a picture of the person on social media and asked the “Facebook Detectives” for help.

The man, whose photo was released by police, is considered a person of interest in connection with an unspecified incident that occurred at the retail location.

Officer Dylan Coombs is leading the investigation and is asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the incident to come forward.

In addition, South Portland Police have set up an anonymous tip line for those who wish to share information without revealing their identity.
