Death investigation underway after man found shot: HCSO

TAMPA – Hillsborough County officials are trying to determine who shot a man in a residential area Monday night.

The sheriff’s office said officers responded to a call about a shooting on North Cameron Avenue, north of Tampa International Airport, just before 6 p.m.

According to HCSO, the man died at the scene. His name was not released.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
