State police search for vehicle that killed pedestrian near Pine Bluff | Regional News

Arkansas State Police investigators are asking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a 19-year-old Bentonville woman late Wednesday, July 3, 2024, on Interstate 530 in Jefferson County near Pine Bluff.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle struck Kalei Owen after she ran onto the road from a nearby wooded area.

The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a red Honda, model unknown, with likely front and passenger side damage and a missing fog light. The vehicle was traveling northbound on I-530 near Exit 27 around 10 p.m.

The deceased was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause and manner of death.
