Man from Moreau confesses to raping a minor

A Moreau man has admitted to raping a minor in Saratoga Springs.

Terrance Crawford, 38, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in Saratoga County District Court on Tuesday.

He was arrested in February after police received a report from the victim’s family. Crawford was chatting with the child on social media apps, police said.

Crawford was convicted of rape in Warren County court in 2015.

The verdict is scheduled for September 10.
