Byram police searching for woman wanted for shoplifting at Walmart

Byram Police are searching for a woman wanted for shoplifting.

According to Chief Errington, officers were notified by the Walmart Asset Protection Team on July 1 about a vehicle leaving Walmart that had just stolen several items from the store

Officers managed to locate the vehicle at a local fireworks stand, where they made contact with a woman named Sheneqia Harvey.

Officers seized more than $1,900 worth of stolen Walmart merchandise in Harvey’s vehicle.

Through further investigation, detectives identified a second suspect, Deneshia Harvey (aka) “Lit Bit,” who was also involved in the shoplifting and fled when officers made contact with Sheneqia Harvey.

Police Chief Errington said the duo was also responsible for several other shoplifting incidents in the area and had an arrest warrant issued by the Byram Police Department for shoplifting.
