Nebraska man arrested for sexually assaulting teenage girl in 2019

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man from the Nebraska Panhandle is accused of sexually abusing a young girl in 2019.

Chris Wilson, 46, of Kimball was arrested May 2, the Nebraska State Patrol said Wednesday.

He is charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a child under 12 in Kimball County.

An affidavit alleges Wilson sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl in March 2019.

According to court documents, the girl reported the assault to her mother last September.

The Keith County Sheriff’s Office referred the case to state police, who began investigating in early April.

Judge Randin Roland set Wilson’s bond at $750,000. He must pay $75,000 to be released from the Kimball County Jail.
