Boeing plane skids off runway at Senegalese airport, flights are canceled

Dakar:

Flights at Senegal’s main airport near the capital Dakar were suspended after a plane skidded off the runway, a source at Blaise Diagne airport told Reuters.

The source did not provide further details. A late-night video shared on social media showed a plane bearing the logo of Senegalese airline Transair parked in the grass with its wing covered in firefighting foam.

Some media reports claimed that the aircraft was a Boeing 737-38J.
