Woman and girl found dead in Chandler apartment, police say

CHANDLER, Arizona. – A woman and a girl were found dead in a Chandler Apartment on Tuesday evening, police said.

On June 25th at around 5:30 a.m. near Ray Road and Priest DriveOfficers responded to an emergency call from a concerned neighbor.

“When officers arrived, they found two people dead inside a condominium, an adult female and a minor girl,” Chandler police said.

The names of the couple or details about the nature of their relationship have not been released.

Police did not provide details about the injuries sustained by the woman and girl, but initially said officers responded to a call about a shooting. The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing.
