Hyderabad: A 13-year-old minor girl was sexually abused and raped several times over a period of time by five men in Neredmet in Hyderabad, police said on Tuesday.

The survivor’s mother filed a complaint with the Kacheguda police station, based on which a case was registered and an investigation was initiated.

The five men reportedly made her addicted to ganja and raped her while she was under the influence of ganja.

“Yesterday, the mother filed a complaint against five people,” said Sub-Inspector Subhash of Kachiguda police station. The girl, who lives in Kachiguda, had a boyfriend who often took her on his bike and sexually abused her at his house in Neredmet. His friends also raped her multiple times, the Sub-Inspector said. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
