One dead after fire accident in Shelton – NBC Connecticut

One person died in a fire accident in Shelton on Sunday evening.

Firefighters and police responded to reports of a car fire in the area of ​​Commerce Drive and Research Drive around 11:30 p.m. and found a crashed vehicle engulfed in flames, according to police.

They pulled a man from the vehicle and took him to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died, police said.

Police have not released the person’s name or age as they are notifying their family.
