Jane Campbell and Houston Dash will be together for four more years

The Houston Dash and goalkeeper Jane Campbell have extended their contract by four years, guaranteeing that the goalkeeper will remain with the club until 2027, with an option for 2028. Jane Campbell expressed her joy at this renewal, highlighting the support of her teammates throughout her career: “Eight years later, I have spent my entire career in Houston. I would like to thank my teammates, past and present , for their support and for what made me the player I am today,” Campbell said. She also mentioned the evolution of the club and her desire to be part of realizing the vision of the new club management.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper has been a defensive mainstay for the Dash, having been named NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year in 2023. Her standout campaign included leading the league in saves and going eight games without conceding a goal, a personal and club record. . Campbell also led the league with 93 saves, helping the Dash to one of the best defensive campaigns in NWSL history with just 18 goals conceded in 22 games.

Campbell recorded 162 appearances for the Dash in all competitions, amassing 14,602 minutes and 35 matches without conceding a goal, the fifth highest mark in league history. The goalkeeper has a good save rate this season in the NWSL, at 76%, with 64 saves made since the start of the league. Thanks to his performance and contribution to the Dash, Campbell played one match as a starter in goal for the USWNT during the matches in South Korea.
