Guillebeaux suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. He was taken to a local hospital in Queens, where he was pronounced dead.

According to ABC7, Guillebeaux was charged eight months before his death as part of “Operation Heat Wave,” which resulted in the arrest of 54 people accused of drug trafficking.

In a statement, Remy Ma’s representatives said her son is innocent and that she fully supports him throughout the process.

“Remy Ma wanted to address this situation personally, but our office strongly advised her not to say anything publicly – as most people in this situation would, as the case is still ongoing,” a spokesperson said in a statement provided to NBC. “To be clear: Jayson Scott is innocent and Remy Ma is committed to proving his innocence and fully supporting her child during this time.”

Remy – born Reminisce Smith – has not yet commented publicly on the allegations made against her son. In terms of music, the Bronx native is keeping a low profile and has not yet released a single in 2024.

According to reports, Scott has yet to be charged in court. Billboard has reached out to representatives for Remy Ma and the NYPD for comment.
