Members of a Dayton motorcycle club charged following investigation by the Organized Crime Task Force

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, a grand jury in a federal court in Dayton has indicted the Midwest Region “boss” and 13 other members of the “outlaw motorcycle gang” known as the Thug Riders Motorcycle Club.

The indictment alleges that the club operated a criminal organization whose members and associates committed violent acts such as murder, arson and assault. In addition, members allegedly engaged in extortion and identity fraud.

An accusation is an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The charges were refiled on June 11, and federal and local law enforcement arrested all 14 defendants yesterday, according to a press release.
