Flack Broadcasting – North Country teen arrested and charged with aggravated burglary in Jefferson County

CARTHAGE- A juvenile suspect from Jefferson County faces felony charges after authorities investigated a burglary report in the North Country last month, authorities said.

The 15-year-old youth from Carthage, NY was arrested by New York State Police (Lowville) on Monday afternoon. The teenager was officially charged with third-degree burglary (unlawful entry with the intent to commit a felony).

State police officers did not provide the suspect’s name or gender (juvenile offender/youthful offender status).

Police say the arrest stems from a burglary report filed in Carthage, New York on May 19.

At the time of going to press, police said the investigation was still ongoing. The suspect was summoned to appear in family court.
