Alyce June Marcus, née Kramer, 88 years old. Beloved wife of the late David Marcus. Beloved mother of Joyce Marcus (Gary Janowitz) and Larry Marcus. Very proud grandmother of Sean Marcus and Kristy (Todd) Anderson. Cherished great-grandmother of Chance Anderson. Twin sister of Ruth Clark and beloved sister of the late Sidney Kramer. She will be missed by her extended family and friends. For more than 20 years, she served as president of the Seymour Engel Memorial Cancer Foundation and as a volunteer ESL teacher at Oakton Community College. Service Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Chicago Jewish Funeral Home, 195 North Buffalo Grove Road, (one block north of Lake Cook Road) Buffalo Grove. Waldheim burial.
