Assault, grand theft and vandalism

Tuesday, April 30th

  • On April 29 between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m., indecent exposure was reported at 520 Lasuen Mall Street (Old Union).
  • A petty theft of an electric scooter was reported at 494 Lomita Mall (Skilling Building & Auditorium) between 9 a.m. and 10:20 a.m.
  • Between 6:50 a.m. and 4:46 p.m. on April 29, a hit-and-run accident was reported at 453 Quarry Road on the third floor of the parking garage, resulting in property and vehicle damage.

The Daily has contacted SUDPS about the indecent exposure at 520 Lasuen Mall and the hit-and-run at 453 Quarry Road.

Wednesday, May 1st

  • On April 30, between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., a grand theft of a bicycle was reported at 520 Lasuen Mall Street (Old Union).
  • Between 12:00 p.m. April 28 and 7:30 p.m. April 30, a grand theft of an electric bicycle was reported at 439 Lagunita Drive (Faculty Club).
  • The assault with intent to rape at 3:30 p.m. was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way at an unknown time and date.
  • Between 2:40 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., a second-degree burglary of a motor vehicle was reported at 420 Museum Way (Museum Way – Lot 3).
  • Between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., a grand larceny of money, labor or property was reported at the 700 block of Campus Drive.

Thursday, May 2nd

  • A student safety report was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way.
  • Between 5:00 p.m. April 26 and 10:00 a.m. May 1, a petty theft was reported at 735 Campus Drive (EVGR Building B).

Friday, May 3rd

  • At 849 Pine Hill Road, a failure to control a dangerous animal was reported between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., resulting in serious bodily injury.
  • Electronic harassment was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way at an unknown time and date.
  • On May 1, between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., a vehicle theft without the owner’s consent under false pretenses, fraud or fraud was reported at 351 Bonair Siding Road.
  • Between 6:00 p.m. May 2 and 8:40 a.m. May 3, a petty theft was reported at 781 Escondido Road (Blackwelder Highrise).
  • An aggravated assault was reported at 618 Escondido Road (Stern Hall – Dining & Kitchen) around 1 p.m.
  • An assault on a spouse, roommate or partner was reported at 233 Bonair Siding Road at 10 a.m. on May 2nd.
  • The use of offensive words in a public place at 7:45 p.m. was reported at 528 Lasuen Mall (White Plaza).
  • At 7:45 p.m., obstruction and resistance from peace officers and paramedics were reported at 528 Lasuen Mall (White Plaza).
  • The possession and purchase of a projectile tear gas weapon was reported at 528 Lasuen Mall (White Plaza) at 7:45 p.m.
  • Between 8:45 p.m. April 30 and 9:20 p.m. May 3, a second-degree burglary of a motor vehicle was reported at 200 Rosse Lane (Hundred Block).

The Daily has contacted SUDPS about the battery at 618 Escondido Road, the assault at 233 Bonair Siding Road and the use of offensive language at 528 Lasuen Mall.

Saturday, May 4th

  • At 2:17 a.m. vandalism was reported at Via Ortega 475 (Huang Engineering Center).
  • At 1:30 p.m., a second-degree burglary of a motor vehicle was reported at 300 Lomita Drive (Hundred Block).
  • Between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., a petty theft was reported at 737 Campus Drive (Quillen Highrise).
  • A first-degree burglary and burglary of a student residence were reported at 326 Santa Teresa Street (Lagunita – Eucalipto) between 5:00 p.m. on May 1 and 5:00 p.m. on May 4.

Sunday, May 5th

  • Vandalism valued at less than $400 was reported between 1:00 p.m. May 3 and 10:00 a.m. May 4 at 450 Jane Stanford Way (Building 20).
  • Vandalism valued at less than $400 was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way at 9:44 a.m.
  • Between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., a grand theft of money, labor or property was reported at 664 Lomita Court (Kappa Alpha).
  • Vandalism valued at less than $400 was reported at an unknown address on Escondido Road at 6:36 p.m.
