Catholic Charities sells several properties in Buffalo

Buffalo, New York (WBEN) – Catholic Charities of Buffalo sold the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and rectory at 220 Albany Street, a former Catholic school at 228 Albany Street and a garage at 91 California Street on Buffalo’s west side for $2 million. dollars, by Buffalo Business First. Catholic Charities will continue to occupy parts of the campus, including the rectory which will house the offices of its immigration and refugee assistance program.

The Northland Workforce Training Center will launch a 12-week CNC machinist certification course in June. The course includes 192 hours of machine operation skills training. Graduates of the program will also receive assistance in finding employment as a machine operator.

The annual West Seneca Farmers Market will begin next Thursday, May 16. The market, located on the corner of Union and Main, has about 40 vendors and will be open for four months.
