House in Tempe catches fire during police operation

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily)– Several police officers are on the scene of an incident in a Tempe neighborhood where a house caught fire on Thursday.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Tempe police said Officers are “working on an active investigation” in the area of ​​Southern Avenue and Rural Road.

Further information was not immediately available, but chopper video obtained by AZFamily News shows tactical response teams gathered on the street in front of a home with smoke rising from its windows.
