Police identify man killed during fight at Bloomfield party – NBC Connecticut

A 24-year-old man was killed in a shooting during a brawl at a party in Bloomfield on Saturday night.

According to police, officers found Keyandre Hightower of Bloomfield with a gunshot wound to the neck when they arrived on Evan Lane to investigate a shooting around 7:40 p.m. Saturday.

A 17-year-old from Bloomfield was identified as a suspect and arrested, police said. They believe he pulled out a gun and shot Hightower during a fight.

Authorities said a 60-year-old woman from Hartford was also taken into custody and charged with tampering with evidence in connection with the weapon seized during the investigation.
