MPs say landlord sexually harassed resident

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) – North Port Police received a call that a resident was sexually assaulted by the owner while she was sleeping.

Michael McKenzie, 63, was under the influence of drugs and claims he has no memory of doing anything to the victim.

The victim claims that she fell asleep that night in the recliner that the owner said she could sleep in and woke up to find McKenzie sexually abusing her.

McKenzie is now accused of sexual assault; both the victim and perpetrator are over 18 years old.
