Bridgeton man arrested after serious injuries in Ralls County crash

RALLS COUNTY, Missouri (KMIZ)

A Bridgeton man was arrested after he was seriously injured in a crash in Ralls County early Saturday morning.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, 32-year-old Preston Glass was driving a 2007 Dodge 2500 truck north on Highway 61, just south of Hannibal, at 1:02 a.m. Saturday.

The report states that the Dodge left the left side of the road and hit a median, became airborne and then rolled over, sending shards of glass flying from the truck.

Glass was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries. According to the report, he was not wearing a seat belt.

An arrest report states that Glass was arrested by Troop F in Boone County on suspicion of driving under the influence, failure to have insurance, failure to wear a seatbelt, displaying another person’s license plate, reckless driving resulting in an accident and no ignition interlock device. Charges have not appeared on Casenet.

The report states that he was still receiving treatment in the hospital at the time of his arrest.
