Man and woman found dead in Minnesota apartment

Savage, MN (KROC-AM News) – Twin Cities authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a Minnesota apartment complex.

A press release from Savage Police said officers discovered the body during a welfare check on Wednesday morning around 10:30 a.m.

Officers found the dead man and woman after opening the door of an apartment in the Louisiana Lofts in the 1900 block of Louisiana Avenue in Savage.

The names of the man and woman have not been released. Their bodies have been turned over to the Hennepin County Coroner so an autopsy can be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.

The press release does not say whether investigators believe the deaths are suspicious. Police say there is no danger to the community.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation, which is reportedly still in its early stages.
