Motorcyclist dies in head-on collision with car in Groton, Massachusetts, police say

Groton police said a motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision with a vehicle on a Nashoba Valley road Wednesday afternoon. A section of Route 119 and Route 225 (Boston Road) were closed after the head-on collision between the motorcycle and sedan. The police chief said the vehicle was believed to have crossed the center line before the crash. Video from the scene showed a heavily damaged motorcycle in the road and a sedan crashed in a grassy area off the roadway. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Police said Boston Road was closed from Four Corners to Gay Road as first responders and accident investigation teams were at the scene.
