Police search for man after woman sexually assaulted at Sutton train station

Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted at a south London train station. At around 1.40pm on June 6, the victim was waiting for a train at Sutton station when the suspect approached her and made her feel uncomfortable.

As she was leaving, she was sexually assaulted. If you recognise the man, contact British Transport Police (BTP) by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 389 6 June.



A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers investigating a report of a sexual assault at Sutton station are today releasing this image in this context. At around 1.40pm on 6 June, the victim was waiting for a train when she was approached by a man who made her feel uncomfortable.

“As she attempted to leave the area, the man sexually assaulted her. Officers believe the man in the photo may have information that could assist the investigation.
