Recall warning: Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon

Chevrolet and GMC have recalled 8,622 new midsize trucks because of the potential for fuel leaks in the event of an accident.

The recalled models include:

The dealer will correct the problem by checking the fuel tank retaining ring and locking it if necessary.

Many cars are recalled at least once during their lifetime. Some even more often. Manufacturers try to notify owners, but don’t always reach everyone. Find out if your car has ever been recalled at our recall center.
