Goshen man arrested for allegedly beating bar employee – 95.3 MNC

A Goshen man was arrested for allegedly hitting a bar employee with a baton.

On Saturday, July 6, officers responded to El Imperial in the 100 block of South Main Street in Goshen shortly after 2:30 a.m. Bar employees reported that a male patron had struck a security guard with a baton.

Jose Tiburcio Martinez Garcia, 48, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and assault.

Both men involved reported injuries but refused medical treatment.

Martinez Garcia was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
