Two injured in ATV accident in Vernon

VERNON, NY – Two people were injured in an ATV accident in the city of Vernon Sunday evening.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, it happened Sunday evening just before 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Norton Road and Houck Road.

Officials say 66-year-old Ronald Judge of Vernon was traveling south when the ATV left the road and rolled onto its side. Judge and his passenger, 67-year-old Billie Judge of Vernon, were ejected.

Ronald Judge was taken to Upstate Medical University in Syracuse for treatment. Billie Judge was taken to Wynn Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated.
